John Travolta is a very handsome, Italian, Irish blue eyes and a great smile man. He became well-known when he played a witted Vinnie Barbarina in a rather famous show "Welcome Back Kotter". This led to his first real big role in the horror film called "Carrie". The Travolta's encouraged creativity in their children. John performed in school shows and also in local dinner theatre. He took dancing lessons from Fred Kelly, the brother of Gene Kelly. John was a cast of Grease and on the Broadway in 1973 in "Over Here". Throughout the 80's and early 90's Travolta starredin television and big screen movies. He did not grew rich. While filming Boy in the Plastic Bubble, he was dating Diana Hyland who played as his mum. Their relationship ended nine months later when she died of cancer. He had a 13 years affair with Marilou Henner, Travolta married actress Kelly Preston(became a Scienatologist) in 1991. They have a 3years old son Jett, a 20 bedroom mansion filled with fantasy playrooms in Maine. Travolta a flying fanatic, also keeps three private jets.
